If Robin Padilla is enjoying his fame and boosting of career in ABS-CBN at present, it seems that Royette, Robin’s brother has come to equal his brother when it comes to being famous. But there is a catch, Robin is booming in his current role in “Guns and Roses” of ABS-CBN’s teleserye while Royette is famed after he mauled his wife of the bars in Pampanga.
Jean Sheryl, Royette’s wife filed a complaint and criminal charge against her husband after she allegedly said that Royette hit her with a bottle and kicked her.
She said that they were in a resto-bar in Clark Freeport Zone which is formerly known as Clark Airbase. Jean confessed that Royette got mad when she convinced him to go home for there is no more guests in that bar and they were the only two left on the table.
In an interview, Jean said;
“Niyaya ko na siyang umuwi kasi kami na lang ang nandoon. Pero sabi ni Royette ubusin pa ‘yong isang bucket. Sabi [ko], ‘O, nakakahiya na, tayo na lang ang hinihintay…’”
It is assumed that it is the part where Royette started to loose control and get mad.
Jean further confessed to the media that this is not the first time that Royette hurt her. She even showed some evidences which includes bruises of the past punches and violence she received from her husband.
“Hindi ito ang first time na binugbog niya ako,” Jean said.
However, when Royette was interview about this incident, he denied all the allegations of his wife and even used a foul word against her.
“‘Yong asawa ko dating bilog (the word refers to undocumented Filipino workers in Japan). Bakit siya ang papaniwalaan? Dapat paniwalaan ‘yong mas maganda ang reputasyon. Hindi totoo ‘yon. Gawa-gawa lang. Pwede naman siyang mabugbog ng iba,” Royette saud in an another separate interview.
Royette said he hope that Divorce Law will be passed so that he could have a legal and total separation with his wife.
The management of the bar has decided to withdraw the charges against Royette. However, it was his wife now who stands against him and continued the case.
Last 2009, Royette Padilla was involved and in case and his famous family name was dragged in the public when he allegedly raped a minor.

Actress-host Mariel Rodriguez is flattered over Robin Padilla’s public admission of his affection for her.
“Siyempre, masaya naman to have someone say hindi ba na ganoon nga. Nakaka-long ng hair,” Rodriguez said.
When asked about Padilla‚Äôs chances, the actress-host, who just ended her relationship with actor Zanjoe Marudo, said: “Siguro, bahala na kayong mag-interpret.‚Äù
Just last week, Padilla admitted that he’s indeed wooing Rodriguez. Padilla met Rodriguez on the set of the defunct noontime show “Wowowee” last May. The 2 are now co-hosts of ABS-CBN‚Äôs newest noontime game-variety show, ‚ÄúPilipinas, Win na Win!‚Äù
There were also reports that Padilla gave Rodriguez a diamond ring, but they declined to talk about the ring.
“I talked to Tito Boy (Abunda, her talent manager) and we made an agreement that if I wear it then I should be ready to talk about it. If I don’t wear it, it means that I’m not ready to talk about it. I’m not wearing any,” Rodriguez said. -SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon.

Toni G. and Noybi’s Movie is cancelled

After 6 days of shooting, Star Cinema decided to cancel the romantic movie of Toni Gonzaga and Robin Padilla.
The multi-media star, Toni Gonzaga, has no ill-feelings whatsoever with this latest development.
“I have this ano, ugali na, when something doesn’t push through, hindi ako naghihinanakit, hindi ako nag-tetake ng grudge against anybody kasi alam ko there’s better things to come and maybe it wasn’t really meant to be.
Ganun lang, everything works for good and everything happens for a reason kaya walang kailangang hinanakit or anything,” she said.
There’s no official statement though, from Star Cinema, on why the film was cancelled. There are speculations that Robin’s being linked with Wowowee host Mariel Rodriguez could be the reason. Toni Gonzaga is clueless, too! When asked if the Robin-Mariel thingy is the reason, she replied: “Di ko masasagot, di ko masasagot. Kapag final na lahat magiging honest ako, sasabihin ko lahat, promise.”
Although she lost a movie, Toni gained two projects: a new studio album which she released recently and a hosting stint on The Buzz as one of the replacements for Kris Aquino.
Mariel, Robin is not sleeping in my condo

Rumors had been spreading that Robin Padilla is already sleeping in Mariel Rodriguez condominium unit. Mariel defended Robin and said he will not do such act because he is a gentle man during the press conference of her movie “Cinco”
“Sobrang gentleman ni Robin Padilla, sobra. Walang mali sa kanya. Sobra niyang gentleman so hindi siya ‚Äòyong type na [ganoon],” Rodriguez said.
She also denied that Robin would drive her to ABS-CBN in Quezon City from her house for her hosting job on “Wowowee.”
In the press question about her current relationship and his opinion about the issue she said,”I saw him in another birthday party, he’s really very nice. We‚Äôve never gone out on date na kaming dalawa lang.”
Robin and Mariel will work again in their upcoming ABS-CBN comedy program “Palibhasa Sikat,” This will be her first comedy program after her recently split from actor Zanjoe Marudo.
