Pops denied relationship with Chiz Escudero

After her controversial separation with Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez tried to evade the spotlight and remained low profiled these days. She is even seldom seen in social parties and gatherings of famous celebrity and affluent people. It was quite a shock to most fans when her name was involved in a high profiled issue. She was rumoured to be linked to famous Senator Chiz Escudero who is now 5 months separated from his wife and 2 children.
The concert queen of course, vehemently denied the rumours. She seemed to be prone on being linked with famous politician as she was also rumoured to have a relationship with Executive Secretary Paquito “Jojo” Ochoa Jr. Pops nipped all the issues in its bud by declaring a statement that she does not even know Escudero personally. What is more exhilarating about the issue is that she has not even met him in person. When interviewed about the circulating rumours, Pops was flabbergasted.
‚ÄúI just woke up…and I almost fell off my bed. Only because I have never really met him,‚Äù Pops said.
Pops also stated that she has no inkling as to where or why the issue arise. As for Ochoa, Pops admitted that she had met him through a common friend and had a dinner with him but it was not a date since they dine with other people. She declares that people should not give malice on it because it is something that is really not worth giving double meaning. But then Pops admitted that there are some non-showbiz people who are making her happy but she did not fully confide if she is into a relationship with any of them. She added that she is very much happy and contented with her private life.
If there is one thing she wants in life, Pops stated that it would be to have another baby, a baby girl specifically. Pops two boys with martin are already young adults. Pops also revealed that she is jealous with her friend Regine Velasquez-Diaz’ pregnancy because she also wishes the same thing for herself.
“I’m not desperate, don’t get me wrong. But every time I see kids kasi, parang oh my gosh I never had the chance to have a girl,” she said.
As of now, Pops is praying and hoping that God would answer her wishes. Unknown to many, Pops is a fervent Christian believer.

Divas 4 Divas US Concert Tour
Last March 20, 2009 the four divas started the first-leg of their US concert tour in Houston, Texas and it ended up in Washington D.C last April 4.  The divas performed on 6 venues states including Houston Arena Center in Houston (Texas), Seaside Entertainment Center in Atlantic City (New Jersey), Queen Elizabeth Theater in Vancouver (Canada), Pasadena Civic Center in Los Angeles (California), San Jose State University Event Center in San Jose (California), George Mason Patriotic Center in Washington D.C.
The first-leg of Divas 4 Divas US concert tour was a huge success.¬† Their biggest success was in Los Angeles where they filled the 3,029 seats of Pasadena Civic!¬† The four divas had staged the most impressive and the most extraordinary concert production to come from the Philippines for quite long years.¬† The theme of the concert was “celebrate friendship, music, and everything beautiful!” and indeed the four divas had succeeded in making a joyous celebration with the fans and concert goers.
It is really interesting to see the four divas performing on the same stage at the same time.  Just like what their poster said “It is a music history!”   It is very rare to see the best of best performing together, playing their best musical style and bringing their larger than life stage presence without out-staging each.  It is a total different concert experience.
On every venue the four divas always delivered an awesome world-class performance was loaded with unforgettable numbers.  Every concert night is filled with fantastic repertoire which is interspersed with solo numbers, duets and quartets of the divas, which flaunted the individual strength of each of the diva’s vocal prowess.  Song line-up is consisting of foreign and Original Pilipino Music (OPM) including some classical Filipino song like “Sa Ugoy ng Duyan”.  From the dramatic opening number to breathtaking finale, it was a total concert experience.
Four Divas is composed of legendary voice of Pop Diva Kuh Ledesma, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.  In May 14th this year the second-leg of the Divas 4 Divas concert tour will kick-off in Highland, California.   Below is the complete schedule of the Divas 4 Divas for the second-leg of their US concert tour.
