Piolo Pascual sure did rock Connecticut during his last leg of solo concert tour in the US at the Yale University. With fans shrieking and excited, it marks a successful culmination for Piolo’s first attempt to launch his solo American concert. Amidst all the delight, it was the Filipinos who felt like they are on top of the world as they witnessed Piolo perform before them in a foreign soil.
In the historic 110 years old institution, it was the first time that a foreign celebrity performed at Yale University in Haven, Connecticut. To regale the crowd with her comedic antics is Pokwang who also went with Piolo as his guest performer for the concert. Filipino students at Yale were awed with the number of Filipino fans who turned up for the event. They believe that it was the biggest get together of Filipinos who had come from other states just to watch their beloved actor. In the concert, Piolo serenaded them with OPM love songs much to the delight of his fans.
Now that his international concert is ending, Piolo Pascual stated his readiness to shoot a still untitled movie once he gets back to the Philippines. The movie will be using entirely the English language and it will be produced in New York, Los Angeles and possibly, Connecticut. The movie producers had been trying to blanket the information as much as possible and kept the information from leaking into the press but Piolo gave a sneak peek about what the audience could expect from the movie. Piolo detailed that the movie would be a romantic-comedy with more than one leading ladies. Piolo has to act as a Fil-Am in the movie so he trained hard and accepted coaching from his close friends who are well-versed in linguistics as well as coaches for his dancing and singing. During his stay, Piolo made use of the time to immerse into the culture of the country and act as a local so he could be ready for the taping of the movie.
Fans, of course, are on their toes as they anticipate what would be known as Piolo’s masterpiece movie. Filming will start on April and it would take a month for the to finish filming in the US. After which, he would also begin taping a new teleserye where he would be casted with Angelica Panganiban for the ABS CBN network. He will also be busy for another Asian concert tour which is already set amidst his hectic schedule.
