The people’s champ Manny Pacquaio will goes head to head with the pride of Puerto Rico.  Pacquaio vs Cotto fight is a battle for legacy, it is old school warriors, modern day heroes.  The two best boxers today of today’s generation is set to embark on a whirlwind press tour of five key cities to mark the start of their preparations for the Nov. 14 clash with WBA welterweight champion.

Pacman will be leaving for New York on Wednesday to be at the Yankees Stadium at noon of Sept. 10 for the launch of the press tour that would take him and Cotto to Caguas, Puerto Rico on Sept. 12, the AT&T Park in San Francisco for the Giants-Dodgers match on Sept. 13, the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles on Sept. 14 and the PETCO Park in San Diego (Pacquiao only) for the Padres-Diamondbacks match on Sept. 15.

Taking advantage of the Yankees on September 10, Cotto and Pacquiao offered in the luxurious playground of the stage the first conference to promote the fight, called “Fire Power” which takes place on 14 November at the MGM Grand Garden, Las Vegas .

The public can be a participant of the event, as it is free. The gates (Gate 4) for the entry of fans will open at 11:00 am, an hour before the press conference.

Yankee Stadium will be the first stop of the tour to promote the fight between Cotto, ‘the pride of Puerto Rico,’ and ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao, which includes visits to five cities, a journey from coast to coast U.S.

The promotional tour will move on Saturday September 12 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas, Puerto Rico, the 13 in the AT & T Park, San Francisco, California, where the Giants play the Dodgers.

On Monday 14, at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Hills, California the next day, Pacquiao will be present at Petco Park, San Diego, California, where the Padres are to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 KO’s) has won six world titles in six different categories from the 112 to 140 pounds. This year began with a spectacular knockout of the Englishman Ricky Hatton on May 2 in Las Vegas.

Cotto (34-1, 27 KOs), a native of Caguas, and the moment’s most popular boxer in Puerto Rico, won last February, the crown of the WBO welterweight Michael Jennings beating at Madison Square Garden New York, where he successfully defended on 13 June to beat Joshua Clottey.
