MiG Ayesa Wows The Crowd On His Broadway Debut

The Fil-Aussie talent wows the audience on his Broadway debut in the musical Burn The Floor. Mig Ayesa is best remembered as the Top 3 finalist in the CBS talent search for Rock Star, INXS vocalist.

“MiG delivered a splendid performance Tuesday night (Jan. 5) as the musical’s lead male vocalist,” wrote Edmund Silvestre a PhilStar Correspondent in New York. “MiG simply shone everytime he was onstage,” Edmund quoted MiG’s friend Suzanne Gallagher as saying. “I didn’t know he’s also a great dancer.” Among those who lent support to MiG was Oscar-winner Matt Damon, a friend of MiG and MiG’s wife Simone De La Rue.

“MiG was superb and the show spectacular,” Matt was quoted as saying. The Bourne Identity star and his wife Luciana joined the awestruck crowd in extending MiG and the dazzling performers more than five minutes of standing ovation during the curtain call.

United As One – Mig Ayesa Song For Ondoy Victims

The Filipino-Australian finalist of the US talent search Rockstar:INXS, Mig Ayesa pitch in his talent to help victim of Typhoon Ondoy victim.  Last October 11, Mig together with the New York’s eight leading Fil-Am bands and other local artists come together to stage the benefit concert called “BANDing2gether” .   The proceeds of the “BANDing2gether” concert were donated to the Ondoy Relief Fund.

Mig Ayesa, composed a heartwarming song called “United As One”.  The song was specially created for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy.  Here’s the message Mig wants to share with United As One song:

“I just wanted to share with you a song I am sending to use to help raise funds for the victims of Ondoy in the Philippines. Please bear in mind this is a demo, recorded at home, using my very limited studio and playing all the instruments. I hope people can pick up this song and use it as an anthem for the relief efforts and also use it to raise much-needed funds. Any help or ideas you may have to get it to the right people would be very much appreciated.

“The world has seemed to forgotten what is still such a painful and drastic situation. I hope this song will inspire people to act and give hope.”
