Microsoft Surface: a new tablet unleashed

Thus streamlining the advent of high-tech hand-held devices and striving in providing easier access for digital consumers in the market.

 

Apple Inc. up to this point has captured multitude of gadget fanatics in owning if not dreaming their very own iPad with its promising light-weight feature and a very responsive touch screen interface coupled with a stable operating system for on-the-go computing.

 

Moreover, android-based devices have tried to rival the iPad yet the latter has kept its prominence in a secured spot. The competition has furthermore attracted a lot of consumers in obtaining their own tablet PC.

 

Microsoft has unveiled their latest device that aims to rival the world’s mobile PCs. Microsoft Surface, as termed, will carry the still under development operating system (OS) –Windows 8. Aside from including the upcoming new OS, the tablet features a thin 9.3mm profile, a 10.6” (16:9 screen ratio) display, and comes with an integrated Kickstand and a revolutionary (3mm thin) pressure sensitive cover that doubles as a fully functioning keyboard and trackpad. The “Touch Cover” connects to Surface with a single magnetic click.

 

Though the new digital toy has been unleashed, prices are yet to be announced later this year (more or less) and thrilled patrons have still to expect when the Surface has to hit the retail stores.

 

I hope they are priced way cheaper than that of the iPad so I can get one for myself!
