While Willie Revilla is still in indefinite leave in the ABS-CBN top-rated noontime show Wowowee, the management of ABS-CBN is trying to find a perfect host or hosts for the show. Last Saturday (May 29, 2010 Philippines time), guest host Robin Padilla ended his 2-weeks hosting stints for the Wowowee and he was replaced with three young actors namely John Lloyd Cruz, Luis Mansano and Billy Crawford or collectively known as the Kanto Boys.
The 3 of the most-sought bachelors in the Philippine showbiz vowed to deliver the best they got to make the show more fun and entertaining. The Kanto Boys are set for 2-weeks hosting stint in Wowowee, after two weeks we will know if the John Lloyd, Luis and Billy will stay on Wowowee for good.
Wowowee co-hosts Valerie Concepcion and Pokwang were delighted with the way the Manzano, Cruz and Crawford handled the hosting.
“Para silang nakawala sa hawla, super kulit nila, I had fun!” said Valerie.
“Ang kulit nila Lloydie, Billy at Luis, enjoy kami kanina sa show!” said Pokwang.
On Friday, Robin thanked ABS-CBN management and the show’s staff for giving him an opportunity to host Wowowee. He said he will forever treasure his experiences on the show.
