Bimby squealed on Dad James Yap’s GF

by Alethea, on Mon, Mar 21 2011 | No Comments

It was a hilarious interview with Kris Aquino which ended up with 3-year-old Baby James answering the question she had tried to escape. Baby James also fondly called Bimby had squealed about the real score that the press sought to answer about the budding romance between Kris ex-husband James Yap and actress Isabel Oli.

After a year of publicly declaring that everything between her and her husband is “over,” Kris could be seen with a more complacent and less hurting look. She divulged that time had somehow healed her and she has no reason to meddle with James’ love life as it does not concern her anymore. She further stressed that she is not anymore jealous with anyone who will be linked with her former husband. She said that as much as possible, she refused to comment on anything about James’ love life as it could put their already patched and ‘friendly’ relationship once more in hot waters. The vocal actress also emphasized that she does not want to meddle into James’ life as she does not want James to do so in her own life. But she made it clear that she is not into relationship with anyone as of present and love is the farthest thing in her mind.

“I think ano lang… it’s my duty as a mother to fulfill my duties first. And, kung may darating, it will come. Kung hindi siya darating, meron naman akong dalawang boys na sobrang nagmamahal sa akin. And at least may peace of mind pa ang ate ko‚Äîsi Ballsy, si Pinky, si Viel‚Äîsi Noy, so ibigay na natin yung peace of mind nila,” Kris said, smiling.

When the press prodded on about James current alleged beau, Kris was adamant to answer. Kris was asked what she would do in case she would have a chance of meeting Isabel. Kris did not respond to this stating that she promised James that she would not talk about the issue on public. Yet, it was Bimby who quickly inserted the answer, “away-away mom…” which elicits laughter from the actress and the crowd within hearing distance. He also stated clearly that the name of her dad‚Äôs girlfriend is Isabel.

James was asked to confirm the allegation but he denied any relationship with Isabel. He firmly insisted that he is only friends with the actress.

Kris ok with James falling in love again

by Alethea, on Sat, Mar 12 2011 | No Comments

Kris Aquino is amenable to let his estranged husband James Yap fall in love again after rumors surfaced that Yap is dating actress Isabel Oli. Kris assured the public that she is OK with having James enter a new relationship since both of them had already moved on with their lives and not anymore emotionally bounded to one another though they are still awaiting the result of their annulment.

In an interview last Wednesday, March 9, Kris expressed her thoughts and believe that both of them should be given another chance to find happiness since their marriage obviously did not work out for both of them. Kris was even once quipped that they are now good friends after accepting the painful truth that their marriage is finally over. They are both happy with their own separate lives and just wish each other happiness. If the statement is released for press reason, it sure did appease the fan who had kept a secret dagger against Yap after his reported philandering ways that had prompted the end of their marriage.

To show that both are already at peace with each other, James gave Kris an expensive Louis Vuitton bracelet for her pre-birthday celebration last February 14 which Kris accepted without any contempt. The couple had dinner with their son Baby James and Joshua, Kris’s son from former beau Philip Salvador. The dinner symbolized that both of them harboured no more ill-will against each other and would rather work together for the sake of their sons. But since their hearts are now both unreined, they could have a chance to move into a new relationship. Kris was very vocal about this concerning James. She stated that she would have no qualms if ever James would fall in love again.

“He has the freedom already. Although not legally, wala pa naman yung papeles naming dalawa pero tutal hindi na naman kami sa isang bubong nagsasama, at kung gusto na niya talagang umibig muli, by all means. Kasi I believe everybody deserves a chance in happiness,” Kris explained in an interview with ABS-CBN’s “SNN.”

In the interview, she was asked to shed some light about the truth on James dating Oli. Kris promptly refused to answer the question for reason that she doesn’t want to compromise her newly found friendship with James. Her dabbling into James affair and commenting about it on public would surely put her in a bad light. To avoid being further grilled with such question, Kris averted everyone’s attention when she talked about her newest game show with the Kapamilya network, The Price is Right.

“Ang saya, ang sarap talaga ng energy, iba yung exictement nila. Feeling ko may dagdag sa taranta factor. So parang mas nahihirapan ng konti kasi may challenge talaga, pero masayang-masaya talaga,” Kris said.

It’s game over for James Yap

by admin, on Mon, Aug 2 2010 | 1 Comment

It’s all over for James Yap… and the B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados. It’s been an uphill climb for the squad who are the reigning All-Filipino champions since they fell behind 3-1 in the best-of-seven series and were just fighting for their lives.

It was to no one’s surprise though that Coach Ryan Gregorio was able to keep their hopes alive by pulling out a Game 5 victory, making that thread of hope they were hanging on to as thick and sturdy as a rope. They are after all 3-0 in do-or-die battles since winning Games 4 and 5 in the quarterfinals against Rain or Shine. They’ve been here before.

But unfortunately, that record is now tarnished. The burden of overcoming an awesome powerhouse like the San Miguel Beermen was just too heavy a task. That rope broke in Game 6 and it was game over for the Llamados.

Game over for James Yap.

The past few days haven’t exactly been going his way (and that’s putting it lightly). Still reeling from knee and back pains, a black eye and a cut on his lip, it seemed that the one that bothered him the most was his broken heart (cue cheesy dramatic music).

Last Friday, Yap really struggled in that game with less than half of his usual numbers. But with their import Tony Washam delivering 28 points and 8 boards, plus Rafi Reavis and Marc Pingris coughing up 16 and 17 points, respectively, and combining for almost half of the entire team’s rebounding, the Llamados stayed alive.

That game was James Yap’s lowest output in the conference and it ties his lowest season output with 7 points. That same day, Kris Aquino arrived from her US trip with their kids. (Just saying…)

Then Sunday bloody Sunday came. Kris Aquino went on “The Buzz” and told a tale of an un-couple living miserably together and better apart. James was on the hard court trying to keep it together but fell apart.

James’ marriage is now as done as his season. It’s all over.

Will these be a having a second game to play with like the basketball? A rematch shall we say!

We are not acquainted: Grace Lee on James Yap

by admin, on Fri, Jul 23 2010 | 1 Comment

Well, it seems that Noynoy’s victory on winning the election, Kris Aquino pays all this with a never ending settlement of the issue between her and her ex-husband James Yap.

As Kris Aquino’s nullity of marriage case appears to go full steam, with her lawyers revealing its strong case against James Yap –notably a claim that the talk show host-actress’ grounds for separation would “shock” the public — there are developments in the story that would not help James’ cause to avoid such proceedings and save their marriage.

Such is the emergence of another claim, which was published on gossip columns in the form of blind items that James was spotted in a beauty salon with a popular Korean TV news anchor, host and radio DJ. In yet another twist to this story, Grace Lee comes into this sordid picture.

According to the reports, James and Grace were allegedly seen in the beauty parlor “together.”

Grace, who hosts the GMA-7 morning talent show “Diz Iz It” and anchors showbiz segments on QTV-11’s “News on Q” and the weekend “24 Oras” edition, denied this.

In a text message to Yahoo! Southeast Asia, Grace puts that particular “link” to James in proper perspective.

“We go to the same parlor. That’s it,” Grace said.

Grace further revealed that while they were in the same room, there was no chance by any figment of imagination that they came and left the establishment “together” at the time.

“We were never introduced. Although I saw him there twice, (there were) no hellos or anything.”

Grace would not relish the idea of being on the list of purported girlfriends of the basketball star while he was very much married to the TV talk show host and actress.

For her, it’s downright absurd.

Grace is very much happy with her real romance, a Seoul-based Korean book publisher whom she met through a friend. She said she met him right after graduating from the Ateneo when he visited Manila for a business trip.

Also the popular DJ, who hosts the widely followed “Good Times” radio program wherein she shares the top billing with fellow DJs Mo Twister and Mojo Jojo, said her relationship with her boyfriend began “way before” she first started her career in media.

And, she doesn’t mince words in describing her unnamed partner in a previous chat with this sleepless blogger.

“He was my boyfriend before I started and he sees the transition I’m going through,” Grace said. “He’s proud of what I’ve achieved and he’s also worried, which is why he’s trying to be my guide if I’m going off track emotionally, mentally.”

“He is such a strength for me. He’s such a rock in my life. He holds me down. He makes sure I’m level headed at times when I might not be. He always pulls me down to the ground whenever he feels that when something good that is happening in my life might carry me away too much. He makes sure I’m very down to earth,” Grace added.

Grace said she looks forward to marrying her boyfriend, although not in the immediate future. According to her, she would like her future family, with four children, to permanently settle in Manila.

I know that Ms. Kris supporters out there are praying for peace in Krissy’s life and James as well.
