Jeremy Lin has caught a lot of attention from the world of basketball as he became a global sensation after bringing the Knicks to a winning streak which is now on its 7th, providing 13 assists and creating 10 points during the game.
The “Linsanity” has continued to light up the excited fans of the Knicks in the Madison Square Garden. Even the ball player’s T-shirt is now the number 1 seller on NBA.com
Jeremy Shu-How Lin is the first ever American-Taiwanese basketball player to have entered the NBA. But before that he was one of the best players of Harvard, setting a few records during his stay at the university. He eventually finished his degree in economics in the year 2010.
Lin initially played with his hometown team Golden State Warriors in a two-year deal and moved to the Houston Rockets who played seven minutes in two preseason games and eventually ended up with the New York Knicks on 27th of December 2010 to back up Toney Douglas and Mike Bibby.
The 23-yr old Knicks point-guard has made 10 point on 4-out-of-6 field goals and 2-out-of-three free throws. Though it was not his best score at this recent game, it was Lin’s career high record in assists leading them to win the night’s ball game.
Everyone will surely watch out for this new guy and it would be one great opportunity for the Knicks to make it again on top of the ball game.
