The game show ‚Äú panahon Ko To is an all- original Filipino trivia show and it will be different compare to the other game show”It’s an original game show that covers eras from 1960s to 2000,” Luis and Billy said.


The game show will have group contestants whose members have different ages, Recommended for all ages and to all for the family, it’s like reminiscing the past and having fun at the same time.
“Para sa amin nakakatuwa kasi it brings back the memories,” Manzano said.


In an interview Luis said; “Bihira naman kasi usually sa TV sa mga hosting. It’s either nakikita mo na solo or babae at lalaki. Bihira ka makahanap ng partner na ultimong kulitan niyo at saluhan niyo ay nandoon,”

Last Saturday (May 29, 2010 Philippines time), guest host Robin Padilla ended his 2-weeks hosting stints for the Wowowee and he was replaced with three young actors namely John Lloyd Cruz, Luis Mansano and Billy Crawford or collectively known as the Kanto Boys.

The 3 of the most-sought bachelors in the Philippine showbiz vowed to deliver the best they got to make the show more fun and entertaining. The Kanto Boys are set for 2-weeks hosting stint in Wowowee, after two weeks we will know if the John Lloyd, Luis and Billy will stay on Wowowee for good.

Wowowee co-hosts Valerie Concepcion and Pokwang were delighted with the way the Manzano, Cruz and Crawford handled the hosting.

“Para silang nakawala sa hawla, super kulit nila, I had fun!” said Valerie.

“Ang kulit nila Lloydie, Billy at Luis, enjoy kami kanina sa show!” said Pokwang.

On Friday, Robin thanked ABS-CBN management and the show’s staff for giving him an opportunity to host Wowowee. He said he will forever treasure his experiences on the show.

“Isang napakalaking karangalan po ang maging bahagi ng Wowowee. Ako po ay nagpapasalamat sa ABS-CBN, sa staff, maraming salamat sa inyo. Sa mga dancers, musicians, technicians, sa guards, sa ating crowd control, at siyempre po sa inyong lahat,” Robin said.

Some of Wowowee’s viewers said they prefer Robin’s style of hosting over the Kanto Boys.

“Mas magaling pa rin si Robin, mas gusto namin siya,” said a Wowowee fan.

Valerie said it was Robin’s character that attracted more followers to the show.

‚ÄúMabait kasi si Binoe, mga 1 hour nagpapa-picture lang siya sa mga fans, talagang we’re grateful he shared his time with us,‚Äù she said.

The trio of Luis, Billy and John Lloyd, however, refused to be affected by the comments on their hosting style.

“Kung iisipin namin na higitan yung ginawa ni Robin, hindi namin magagawa ng tama ang trabaho namin. Pumunta kami dito para magpasaya ng tao,” said John Lloyd.

“Pumunta kami dito para mapasaya ang mga fans ng Wowowee,” said Billy.

I guess, the Wowowee management is trying to find a good combination that could hold appeal to both young and old audiciences. Do you think the Kanto Boys is the answer?

The PGT is expected to become the biggest talent search show in the country, as the will tour around the Philippines to find the Philippines best acts.

The Pilipinas Got Talent is a reality television series patterned after the popular “Britain’s Got Talent (BGT and “America’s Got Talent.” Luis and Billy will the counterpart of Britain’s Got Talent host Ant and Dec. They will be using their wit, humor, and charm as they guide Got Talent hopefuls throughout their journey and perform before a set of judges.

According to Billy, “Luis and I will serve as the contestants‚Äô big brothers here. We will get to know them and their stories, which I think is something the audience should and will really look forward to,” said Billy, who admitted that he was a fan of the America‚Äôs Got Talent before coming to Manila last year to host Pinoy Dream Academy last year.

Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) will feature Filipinos’ in different acts. The show is open to everyone, regardless of age. Aspirant talents can do solo, duo, or group. Any talent is welcome it would be in singing, dancing, acting, or even unique skills such as doing magic, juggling, and stand-up comedy.

Watch out for the Pilipinas Got Talent audition in your locality. The first leg of auditions will kick of at the Lyceum of the Philippines in Batangas on November 6, 7, and 8. Auditions will also be held on Cebu on November 11, 12, and 13; Baguio on November 19, 20, 21; Cagayan De Oro on November 25, 26, and 27; Davao on November 30, Dec. 1 and 2; and Manila on December 5, 6, 12, and 13.
