Donaire unmatched boxer holds title

courtesy of fightnews.comNonito Donaire successfully defended his championship belt against Japanese newcomer boxer Toshiaki Nishoka in the recently held match in Carson City California at the Home Depot Center.

Throughout the match Donaire has shown exemplary performance, challenging the skills of the south paw Nishioka. It is clear that our very own pinoy boxer has scored more on each round despite the jap fighter having tricks up his sleeve – trying to wait for the right moment to unleash and rain hell upon the now seasoned Donaire.

The bout was not as exciting as anyone hoped for. The undercard fight between Rios and Alvarado has entertained their spectators more than the main match.

Nishioka seems too careful in throwing his punches bringing him to a total of 49 versus Donaire’s 134.

The “Filipino Flash” ended the match in the 9th round with just less than 2 mins on the clock using a powerful straight right punch that stunned the Japanese boxer. Donaire retained the super bantam weight title over a technical knockout.
