Janet Napoles surrender orchestrated?

courtesy of rappler.comJust two days after Malacanan Palace issued a bounty for the capture of the alleged Pork Barrel scam mastermind, the dubious Janet Lim Napoles emerged at the doors of the Philippine President “Noynoy” Aquino III.

I think everyone is now relieved that this wanted persona is finally in the custody of our government and the question beleaguering many Filipinos will be soon be answered. Though Janet Napoles surrendered on her own, many of us are puzzled on her move to emerge in the presence of our commander-in-chief. Even so, the disappearance of three of her expensive yachts at the ports of Manila Bay somehow impressed a notion that she has already left the country.

Many people are saying that this event was likely been staged. For all we know, Napoles was already in the custody of the Palace since this PDAF scam erupted. The palace was just waiting for something to happen before they act upon and reveal Janet Napoles. Too much of the conspiracy theories? Well, we really do not know how everything happened but it seems we have to keep an eye on the events to follow.

On the other hand, Janet’s move instigates her camp’s objective for a possible state witness plea but former Supreme Court judge Miriam Defensor-Santiago defies the defendants eligibility.

Napoles surrendered to PNoy at the Malacanang Palace together with her husband (Jimmy Napoles) and attorney Lorna Kapunan the evening of August 28 2013.
