Sugar-coating the P-Noy Administration
A few days after the grandiose wedding celebration of Shalani Soledad to Roman Romulo on the 28th of January, our president “Noynoy” who was Shalani’s former flame made a buzz over the web after being rumored of a recent link-up with Korean radio and TV personality Grace Lee (Kyung Hee-lee off screen). The couple has confirmed the purported dating after separate interviews done by several broadcast channels.
While most people are head over heels over the recent romantic episodes of our beloved nation’s leader, some have different reactions on the confirmed pairing of our political bachelor with a showbiz personality.
People say that the budding Palace romance is just a cover up to have a way to uplift or mask the now steadily falling positive image of P-Noy.
If we can remember, the P-Noy was immersed in a series of controversies, reported as being unresponsive and insensitive to the Filipino’s needs. His MIA (missing-in-action) status in the typhoon Sendong devastation on December 2011, Llamas’ controversial photo, and slow growth in economy as it was compared with the previous administration were among the controversies to hit our country’s head of state.
I suppose it doesn’t hurt if the bachelor leader will try to find someone to share his heart with as long as it does not affect the way he manages this country.
Yet one thing I am sure of, the palace should start working on improving our economy and dismiss the fault-finding advocacy.
