courtesy of starpulse.comYes folks! Our very own Jessica Sanchez made it to the final round. With only two American Idol contenders left, either place is a good way to finish this contest. Yet of course everyone hopes she will be this season’s American Idol.

The Wednesday (5-17-12) night’s performance was actually a dangerous spot for Jessica since one of the judges did not favour to the young singer’s last song for that night. The Jackson 5’s “I’ll be there” gave Sanchez a rather indecisive remark from Randy -”I liked it OK, I didn’t love it… We’re at the end here.. [There] was never a moment, moment. It needed like a moment, moment, moment.” (source: ph.omg.yahoo.com)

Everyone was anticipating an all-male final round after that unexpected commentary from one of the contest’s judges. Out of the three “Idols,” Joshua Ledet made a flawless performance on the Final 3 leaving Jessica on a compromising spot.

The AI contenders were given a 3-round show based on three different categories – Judge’s Choice, Contestant’s choice and Jimmy Iovine’s pick. Everyone did their best to this night’s event.

Sanchez’s fans has pre-stated their regrets and even biased results on the possible outcome of the Final 3 series over the internet but then again this contest is largely based on votes. The judges’ comments are just there to give us a hint to carefully select the deserving artist.

Jessica is now up to the last feat and aims to win this season’s AI crown. I bet this is the right time to once again say the words, “I am proud to be a Filipino.”
