Alluring Imortal star of ABS-CBN, Maricar Reyes rather keep her privacy hidden to the public and give restrictions on some issues that concerns her own life towards media.
 
However, in spite all these perceptions, Maricar has been quite busy now, making her accessible to her fans. Her showbiz career is very demanding because of her role in primetime series “Imortal” that turns out to be a popular teleseries and her job commitment with a jewelry firm, Karat World’s endorsement transaction. Eventually, after a long silence of who really Maricar is, off camera she finally divulged a hidden portion of her to her fans. In spite primary uncertainties from her managers, she finally unveiled a private part of her to the public through an email dialogue with a trusted publication.
 
She shared that even she is by profession, a medical practitioner; she knows how to handle professionally both her being a public figure and a doctor as well. She revealed too that she is very much organized when it comes to her careers, “I actually set priorities, like this particular day, should I devote more on acting and on some other time, I will be attach with doing other endeavors,” she added. Being a doctor in real life is her day job, and said that it is funny sometimes, when some patients of hers will be surprised when she is on duty but would not last for long and got used to it for a while. “Maybe they are uncomfortable with me because they realized my portrayal in “Imortal”, as a supernatural vampire on television,” she chuckles.
 
“My night job is my acting though, I can leap tall buildings in a single bound,” she said jokingly. I would rather maintain my status of being proficient in all of my careers. Stunning woman with class, Maricar hopes someday she will be given the chance to be in the Indie film because she loves venturing into something different also. Besides that, she is now into another passion that is in contrast to acting and medicine, which is in Karat World as jewelry designer and added, “I love to share my ideas and suggestions regarding fashionable jewelries.”
 
To be simple and classic like Audrey Hepburn and Angel Aquino, are what Maricar considers her style icons of her fashion philosophy.
