Alicia Keys had a momentous concert last November 25, 2013 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Worth mentioning is her sincere dedication of her tour to the victims of typhoon Haiyan, making it a historic musical tour for the R&B artist. This surely is a more purposeful trip from the world renowned artist.
The Set the World on Fire World Tour is one of the most anticipated concert from Keys which featured her chart topping singles like Girl on Fire, Empire State of Mind, Streets of New York, and You Don’t Know My Name among others.
Also, a new single entitled “New Day” will be part of the album SONG FOR THE PHILIPPINES which is an all-star collaboration from iTunes that aims to raise funds for the Philippine Red Cross.
What made the concert more historic is the unexpected duet with Regine Velasquez. Knowing our song bird, her high notes were as always impeccable. But the duo’s performance made an astounding mark on the night’s performance. “If I Ain’t Got You” definitely received an encore.
No one would have expected a more sparkling and memorable performance than from the two great artists of our time.
