The fight of Floyd Mayweather and the Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is set on November but even though it was all scheduled the people wants to makes sure that there’s a fight in November and not all totally gossips. Mayweather and Pacquiao were supposed to fight last March 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena but they disagreed on the drug testing protocol after the Filipino refused to give in to the American’s demand for Olympic-style blood testing, But soon Pacquiao agreed to blood test him 14 days before the fight.
Manny‚Äôs trainer Freddie Roach assured that his ward will fight this year. He said, ‚ÄúI don’t know what’s going on. I’m staying out of it. I just know Manny will be fighting someone in November,‚Äù Roach was quoted in a BoxingScene.com report by Ruslan Chikov.
‚ÄúWe hope the opponent is Mayweather. If not, we’ll fight someone else and we’ll be ready,‚Äù added Roach.
But Mayweather‚Äôs camp has been silent since Pacquiao‚Äôs pronouncement. Roach, for his part, commented on Mayweather‚Äôs performance in his match against Mosley last May 1 at the MGM Grand. He said, ‚ÄúYou can see in the Mosley fight that his legs are not there. He’s [Mayweather] a very good fighter, but my guy is better and I know my guy can beat him,‚Äù
All the people are looking forward to this fight, hoping it will surely happen this November.

Noynoy To Remain His Residency at Times St. Worries Neighbors

A Nightmare on Times Street? This is what the neighbors of the President elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III is expecting when he announced that he will remain his residency on his home on Times Street even in his 6 years term. Noynoy’s neighbors pointed out that apart from the No. 1 problem of keeping a President safe and secure, there would be a traffic nightmare whenever Aquino traveled to and from the upper middle class neighborhood.
“What if bombs are set off and some of his neighbors get hurt? It would be on his conscience. I don’t think he would want that,” businessman Juancho Esteban, a member of the West Triangle Homeowners II Association, said in an interview at the Hearts of Jesus and Mary parish church.
“He should wake up and realize that he is now the President of the republic,” Esteban said. “He shouldn’t be petty and he should stop being a baby. He should be practical, smell the roses.”
Last Thursday, Aquino said to the press that he was completely at home in the family residence where he and his sibling grew up. Their home has none of the customary pointed grills to deter burglars. Instead, a “mantra” in Thai and Chinese to ward off evil is posted above the main door.
“This is my spiritual and psychological well-being,” Aquino said. “I’m here in a very comfortable position. This is where I grew up; this is where I find myself very productive in terms of studying. The pacing here is really okay.”
As early as February this year during the height of campaign period, Aquino said he preferred to live in the family home if he got elected.
