Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Agoncillo

It is officially confirmed that “the young superstar” Judy Ann Santos is now officially Mrs. Judy Ann Agoncillo. According to Philippine Entertainment Portal (pep.ph), the wedding took place today, April 28, 2009 at around 7am Philippine time. The “young superstar” Judy Ann Santos and her long time boyfriend, TV host-actor Ryan Agoncillo exchange wedding vows in church somewhere in San Juan, Batangas.

The Santos-Agoncillo wedding was long-awaited by the press and the fans of the both high-profile celebrity but the newly wed couple chooses to make their wedding private and away from the eye of the press and the public. The much awaited “Wedding of the Year” did not happen, no fancy fanfares, no circus just a private wedding celebration for the family and closest friends of Juday and Ryan.

According to sources, guests were given sketch enclosed in the invitation for the exact location of the wedding location. High-profile guests like the megastar Sharon Cuneta and Ogie Alcasid are closed mouthed on any information about the wedding. Judy Ann and Ryan will distribute the footage and photos of the wedding to different TV networks, so I guess we’ll have to wait for it. For now let just congratulate Juday and Ryan. Best wishes!

Sarah Geronimo Is Being Abused?

by admin, on Thu, Apr 16 2009 | 4 Comments

The Pop Princess and now a Box-Office Queen Sarah Geronimo is reportedly being abused by her mother studio Viva Films by unfairly paying her a meager talent fee.  Sarah is underpaid!  According to some showbiz news, Sarah is only being paid 50,000 pesos for every film she is making.  It this information is true the Pop Princess is horribly and miserably abused by Viva films which she is under contract for five years.

The report revealed that Sarah was only paid P 200,000 talent fee for the blockbuster movie “You Changed My Life” which she co-starred John Lloyd Cruz.  It is reported that Sarah is supposed to receive 50,000 only for he talent fee for the movie but it was the Star Cinema who upped her talent fee to 200,000.  The talent fee is sadly very low in comparison to John Lloyd’s 3-million pesos talent fee for the same movie.   “You Changed My Life” has earned more than 200 millions pesos at the box-office which was shown both in Philippines and US.  It is a little consolation that she was given one million pesos as a bonus for the huge success of the movie.

Showbiz report had confirmed that Sarah was also paid poorly for her US concert tour.  According to reports Sarah only received less than one-fourth (1/4) of the talent fee enjoyed by Regine Velazquez.  It is an establish fact that Sarah Geronimo is a crowd drawer, a darling of the masses that is being “idolized” by both jologs and sosyaleras crowed.  She staged sold-out concerts, made multi-platinum albums, a box-office queen yet she is being paid like lowly starlet.
